
Biography Meg Stiefvater has been in the early childhood education field for over twenty five years. She has been a preschool teacher as well as teaching kindergarten and fourth grade. Meg has been a preschool director at three area preschools including starting Kids on the Hill Preschool for Hillside Church. Meg is a parent of a college aged son and has navigated the public and private school education scene. Meg is an active volunteer through the SPCA and LITA, with her therapy assist dog, Cody. Meg started Parenting on the Run out of her love of children, respect for parents and desire to share her knowledge with the community. Meg keeps up-to-date information on area schools and educational issues. The focus of Parenting on the Run is to meet where and when it is convenient for parents; including workshops in the workplace and preschools. Seminars and teacher in-service programs help teachers and directors target and solve issues by providing usable tips and strategies. Meg's method of customizing early childhood topics to fit the needs of parents, preschools, parent groups, playgroups, etc., are an affordable way for parents to meet and discuss common issues and come away with workable strategies and knowledge. Meg also works with real estate agents and parents moving into the area to help them understand the preschool search, wait lists, philosophies and transitions.
