Biography
Meg Stiefvater has been in the early childhood education field
for over twenty five years. She has been a preschool teacher
as well as teaching kindergarten and fourth grade.  Meg has
been a preschool director at three area preschools including
starting Kids on the Hill Preschool for Hillside Church.  Meg is
a parent of a college aged son and has navigated the public
and private school education scene.  Meg is an active
volunteer through the SPCA  and LITA, with her therapy assist dog, Cody.

Meg started Parenting on the Run out of her love of children,
respect for parents and desire to share her knowledge with the
community.  Meg keeps up-to-date information on area schools and educational issues. The
focus  of Parenting on the Run is to meet where and when it is convenient for parents; including workshops in the
workplace and preschools.  Seminars and teacher in-service programs help teachers and directors target and solve
issues by providing usable tips and strategies.

Meg's method of customizing early childhood topics to fit the needs of parents, preschools, parent
groups, playgroups, etc., are an
affordable way for parents to meet and discuss common
issues and come away with workable strategies and knowledge.

Meg also works with real estate agents and parents moving into the area to help them understand the
preschool search, wait lists,  philosophies and  transitions.
